"Det Bittra Slutet" is the debut EP of the swedish Raw Punk, D-Beat, Hardcore band ASOCIAL, a legendary act that has been active in the Mid / Late Eighties - Early Nineties, since later 2016 they are back on the map again. ASOCIAL are one of the founding stones of the Eighties Hardcore, D-Beat scene in Sweden and their raw, aggressive D-Beat, Crust can easily compete with other "big" contemporary swedish bands like ANTI-CIMEX, MOB 47, DISARM, MODERAT LIKVIDATION, ... .

Thirty-five years after the initially release THREAT FROM THE PAST (in co-operation with the band) is putting out an official re-release on PICTURE EP, all songs got remastered for vinyl by the Hand Of Doom in the TOXIC BASMENT STUDIOS, Italy (firstly used for the "Det Bittra Slutet +" 2 x LP on F.O.A.D. RECORDS from Italy) and the artwork for the A-Side was drawn by Stiv, STIVART again (he already did a drawing for the "Religion Sucks" 7" PICTURE EP), Bernd Spring, Germany re-arranged and created the all final artwork to get the best possible result.

The original pressing (on normal vinyl) was released in the year 1984, released label was DIS-RECORDS from Sweden.

ASOCIAL is total swedish Early, Mid Eighties Hardcore mangel at its best, credited by Heavy Metal expert Daniel Ekeroth as the true inventors of the Blast-Beat and the originators of Grindcore (in his book "Swedish Death Metal" he defines ASOCIAL as "key to any survey of extreme music). If you like the fastest scandinavian Hardcore, Punk and your daily drug is the insanely raw devastation of bands like MOB 47, ANTI-CIMEX, THE SHITLICKERS, CRUDE SS, DISCARD, ... then you will dig ASOCIAL for shure.

After nearly thirty-three years "Religion Sucks" is finally available on (PICTURE) vinyl again, the original artwork of the cover / insert got restored and rearranged to achieve the best possible result. Stiv / VISIONS OF WAR, STIVART did a real nice drawing for Side A of the PICTURE vinyl and Eugene / CHAOSBRINGER took all pieces of art and created something new and really fantastic (Side B of the PICTURE vinyl was done by him alone).

The original pressing of this EP (on normal vinyl) was done in the year 1986 on the german label DISSONANCE RECORDS.

the Bristles, Ban The Punkshops - LP

THREAT FROM THE PAST / CIVILISATION RECORDS love to work together with the swedish Hardcore, Raw Punk legend THE BRISTLES, after re-releasing their first two EP´s ("Don´t Give Up" - 1983 and "Boys Will Be Boys" - 1984) and their "Last Days Of Capitalism" LP (2015), there has been an urgent need to re-release their "Ban The Punkshops" tape (from 1983). This album has never been on vinyl before, so the sixteen songs got remastered in autumn 2020 and Robin Wiberg, Sweden did some sweet new artwork for the front cover, due to some delays from label sideas well as the from band side it took some time to realize this project. Finally over thirty-seven years later this classic swedish Punk release sees the light of day again !!!

THE BRISTLES on this album are different to the typical swedish Crust, Hardcore bands of these days: MOB 47, DISARM, MODERAT LIKVIDATION, ANTI-CIMEX played raw, fierce D-Beat, Hardcore but THE BRISTLES are more on the Punk, OI! (only in their early days) side. On "Ban The Punkshops" you can listen to sixteen catchy but powerful, sometimes faster Punk tunes. Tracks like "Ban The Punkshops", "Give Peace A Chance", "Fuck The Nazis", "Black And White Unite", ... perfectly show that THE BRISTLES were and still are a political Punk band. If you already own all the other THE BRISTLES releases but need the "Ban THe Punkshops" tape on vinyl, don´t hesitate and buy this masterpiece !!!

The first edition of this album was released in the year 1983 as cassette only on the swedish label ÄGG TAPES & RECORDS.

Driller Killer, cold cheap & disconected LP

"Driller Killer was a Swedish extreme metal band. They were formed in 1993 in Malmö (Sweden). They got signed to Osmose Productions and have released seven full-length albums, and a variety of split releases to date. Their style has been described as heavy punk, hardcore punk, crust, or D-beat. They are also strongly influenced by the sound of Discharge.

Driller Killer was one of the first bands to implement death metal sound into a crust punk formula. The popularity of the crust punk and death metal fusion cemented when Osmose Productions created the Kron-H imprint for the main purpose of signing Driller Killer, Disfear, Loud Pipes and Dellamorte."
