Last Under The Sun is based in Birmingham and plays a mixture of punk and hardcore. The band has played live all over Europe.
Last Under The Sun played its first gig on 9th October 2001, at Manhattens, Hereford, UK with Eggraid and Redshift. A week later the band recorded "All Agents Defect" which was a 30 song Demo. When work was completed the band began work on an 8 song debut album called "Windfall".

From the ashes of a punk band in Greensboro, North Carolina (U.S.A.), Facedowninshit was born... or better still, spawned. Bassist/vocalist Waylon Riffs and drummer Ryan Wolfe met up with guitarist/vocalist Jason Crumer and the rest, as they say, is history. After self releasing their self titled demo in 2000, they soon went on to record their debut long player, Concrete World (2001) which was also self released. Continuing the D.I.Y. mentality, they booked their own U.S. tour to support the album. After relocating to Portland Oregon (U.S.A.) in 2003, they would release their sophomore full length, Passing Times, the following year and the band would once again move back East. They signed with Relapse Records in 2005 and the result is the band's third album, NPON - Nothing Positive, Only Negative.

This band formed from the ashes of Blood Spit Nights (and also features ex-members of Defiance), but despite very loose similarities in style this is a more rocked out and barely metallic take on hardcore/punk. The vocals are gruff shouts (definitely good stuff), while the music is rather straightforward and energetic in its use of moderate speeds and memorable riffing, complete with pulsing basslines and brief yet repetitive song structures with plenty of simple chord progressions infused with rock flavored lead riffs (check out the intro to "Air Raid") and lightly noisy lead playing.

Wild hardcore/punk from this defunct Portland act with members of Religious War and Defiance (most of whom have now gone on to form Dog Soldier out of the ashes of this band). This does not sound a god damn thing like any other Portland band, though.

This CD is a bona fide treasure. FORCA MACABRA are a Finnish band who sing in Portugese because they are such rabid fans of the Brazilian hardcore scene. They recently unearthed five never before released tunes by ARMAGEDOM, the largely unheralded but highly influential Brazilian crossover act. FORCA MACABRA was able to get permission to release the ARMAGEDOM tracks as a split release and this teeth rattling gem of a CD is the result. FORCA MACABRA pummel the senses with nine new tracks of their tinnitis inducing metal- core.
