Minneapolis veteran punks are at it again! This 10 track album will mark the bands 10 year anniversary. “Into the Depths” directly reflects the bands rage and anger against a world that has turned its back on itself.
"Dark, brooding metallic crust punk is what Minneapolis’s War//Plague are all about, bringing to mind such bands as Amebix, Axegrinder, Deviated Instinct, Extinction Of Mankind and fellow Minneapolis crusties Misery – a sound that is as every inch as dark and grim as the images the band’s name and the intro and outro to their debut album ‘On A Darker Dawn’ of swarming flies conjures up, and as harsh and abrasive as a long Minnesota winter. The band mix up doomy and darkly atmospheric clean guitar driven passages and chugging mid paced riffs with raging punked up distorted aggression with some frenzied lead playing thrown in for good measure, they know how to mix up tempos well resulting in a varied and dynamic aural assault on the ears and their sound continually twists and turns with various metal and crust/punk influences entwining themselves around each other creating a perfectly balanced crossover, a sound that should appeal just as much to metalheads as it does to crust punks." - TERRORIZER.com
Very cool old school sounding Czech hardcore punk, which brings to mind a lot of old US and European hardcore influences. SEE YOU IN HELL is fairly straight-forward, no-frills stuff and won’t throw you a curve ball stylistically, which in my book can be something very good. Sometimes you want your hardcore served up raw and that’s when you listen to SEE YOU IN HELL” (NM, Maximum RocknRoll #299)
Relatively new band from Sweden with their first LP filled with 10 tracks of raging hardcore punk. Features members from Makabert Fynd, Passiv Dödshjälp and Vengeance of Karma and in a way that sums up the sound of this. It doesn’t really sound like those bands, but there are traces of both Makabert Fynd and Passiv Dödshjälp in there, not too familiar with Vengeance of Karma though.Anyway, quality Swedish hardcore punk with some cool melodic sections where the vocals and guitars follow eachother in a way that has me thinking a bit of Oral. Well, well… enough with comparing to other bands, Förgiftad are strong enough on their own merits.
Debut album of Slovakia death / crust finest BETON! D-takt meets swedish death metal. Basically, if you like Hardcore Crust with a smattering of D-Beat then this is a no brainer. It's well above average for this style and despite the above comparisons, they still have their own sound and the vocals are great.

New album from this ongoing band formerly from Göttingen, Germany now sharing members between Prague (Czech Rep.) and Germany. ANTIGEN have a new line up and only the Singer/Bassplayer remains from the previous line up. The band now includes ex-members from Dread 101, Jonestown, Fear Of Extinction and plays far more raw-punk/crust infused music than their melodic and diverse hardcore punk of the previous two albums. Strange turn but ANTIGEN prove they are capable of both.

Doom / sludge massacre V Rukou Osudu vs. heavy hardcore Pray For Death, in DIY cooperation between many labels.
This piece of plastic darkness will be unforgettable! Brutality! Two sludge funeral doom hymns with graveyard atmosphere from Chomutov city masters are like two rusty nails in coffin for human civilization. On the other side you will get a few songs full of misanthropy and violence from Pray For Death, band which is coming from Kutna Hora area (yes! world famous bone house!). Hate hardcore / crust.
"Sweden's Arrogant State kick this off with two tracks straight from the 'Fifteen Counts Of Arson' playbook – sure, things are a bit faster and a bit rougher round the edges, but the comparison is unavoidable. This said, there's plenty of energy and 'Gruesome Warcrimes' has some pretty nifty guitarwork going on, so despite being insanely derivative I can get on well enough with it all. Slutet, on the flip, are also Swedish and also play crusty D-beat. Theirs is a bit claggier, with burlier vocals and riffs that tend to stick to the roof of your mouth. The influence here is Tragedy rather than His Hero Is Gone, and while it's all fine enough the overall stodginess sees them trailing behind Arrogant State somewhat." - [Collective Zine]

This debut Parasight album from crust / d-beat band coming from Copenhagen will remind you times, when crust wasn´t only noise insanity covering other attributes. Still aggressive, but with melodic and unusual riffs and with dark distort atmosphere. Moreover, something attractive is on dannish hardcore scene, right? So, do not let this vinyl without your attention. Parasight!

Ever think "Yeah, I love Wolfbrigade but wish they had some blasting occasionally"? Then HELLKNIFE's debut 'Dusk Of Doom' is the release you have been waiting for! The Mannheim five piece produce that crust metal sound with the aplomb of scene veterans. Guitars ripping between jangling d-beat riffing, trem picked almost black metal-ish speed sections and the melodic leads that give Crust that truly epic punk feel.Vocals are the bellowed hoarse throat tearers classic to the style, lent an edge by an extremely clean production and a delivery any wearer of a dred mullet would be proud of. The drums are intense, again with very polished production nothing is lost from the performance here, pummeling D-beats with some excellent cymbal play swapping to micro-blasting sections through rolling tom fills.

Debut album from crust / hardcore / d-beat band coming out from Kristinehamn (Sweden) with members from bands like Myteri, Förgiftad or Gränslandet. Vengeance Of Karma started in late 2008 and has released several demos and guested on compilation records around the world. In the beginning it was more a crust band with fast, angry and more raw feeling over the band. Within time Vengeance Of Karma have been going more to an rhytmic and melodic hardcore with d-beat in the ground with some metal influences. The raw feeling is still there but with more atmosphere. Think latest recordings from bands like Martyrdöd, Myteri with touches of classic scandinavian crust bands like Skitsystem or Wolfbrigade. Pressed 500 copies. 400 on black vinyls and 100 on yellow / orange splatter vinyls as a limited edition. Cooperation between Phobia Records, Ofog Och Motvals Records, The Mind Is Everything Records, Angry Music Records and 5 Feet Under Records.
Hailing from Poland, singining in Polish but not playing the Polish style crust punk you might be familiar with, played some 20 years ago. This can successfully land on your shelf next to the likes of DOOM, ENT or DISRUPT and you wouldn’t tell this band comes from an Eastern European country with serious hang-ups. Because, in fact, it is complexes-free band, that assumes boundries ceased to exist ages ago. Having learned their crust job in bands like FILTH OF MANKIND or MONEY DRUG, you know they will deliver the extremely well balanced crust punk.

Czech crust/punk/metal with real “veterans” in the band – some of them playing punk since there were 11 or 12. Raw hardcore punk with a fair dose of metal that merge the Czech punk sound with a touch of early 00’s Swedish crustcore/käng. Good driving songs with some heavy riffs.
