Crushing D-Beat Kångpunk behind a raw wall of distortion! For those unfamiliar with one of Portland’s better kept secrets, prepare to be crushed! DÖDLÄGE are a raw grind/crust band that belt out old school crust the way it was meant to be played! Highly influenced by Swedish Kångpunk (the word DÖDLÄGE is Swedish for “Deadlock”), you can expect a large Scandi influence. DÖDLÄGE mix the more raw eras of ANTI-CIMEX with the earlier years of crust/grind bands like EXTREME NOISE TERROR and DISRUPT. You might be thinking thats it’s be done before, and it has… but every once in a while a band does it right! DÖDLÄGE are able to maintain a fine balance of bringing something fresh to the table while taking you back to the earlier glory years of the genre. ”Ritual Slaughter” is sixteen ear bleeding tracks of raw crust/grind that will have you banging your fist and grinding your teeth while craving for more!

Following directly on the heels of their 2007 debut LP, Minneapolis’ BLACKOUT deliver another dose of angst-ridden punk rock’n’roll madness. The music is powerful hardcore punk (read POISON IDEA) with a healthy dose of MOTÖRHEAD style metal. Lyrics are cut-to-the-bone observations about life on the ugly underside of society and are heavily influenced by classic American Blues music. BLACKOUT members have been part of the Profane Existence family for nearly two decades and include members of ASSRASH, PROVOKED, STILLBORN, PHALANX, etc. As with the previous album, this was recorded at the House of Misery Studio. Musically this album is heavier, better produced and orchestrated than their debut. Cover artwork by Yvette.

Are you prepared to brave the storm?…
Brace yourself for one of the most uncompromising hard hitting and politically outspoken records of this era. STORM OF SEDITION are an anti-civilization anarchist crust punk band based out of Victoria BC. Sharing members with the mighty ISKRA you can definitely expect some serious blackened crust, and yes a huge metal influence is prevalent however STORM OF SEDITION are a bit more reminiscent of bands like CONTRAVENE & NAUSEA. “Decivilize” brings a heavy anarcho punk dynamic to the table combined with over the top blackened crust grind thats littered with blistering solo’s, insanely powerful drumbeats, and thought productive lyrics that challenge our current state of human civilization. All in all this is an absolute monster of a release! Comes with a 12 page booklet containing lyrics, notes, and song explanations.Mastered by Brad Boatright @ Audiosiege
“We Don’t Need Them” is the second full-length record from West Virginia punks Appalachian Terror Unit. ATU have become known throughout the years as being one of the most politically charged bands in the current punk scene. This new record is an all out attack on today’s society that takes ATU to a new level of intensity both lyrically and musically. The combination of the beautiful and thought provoking gatefold cover (with art designed by Stiv of War) along with the brilliant recording and mastering job by Jay Matheson at the Jam Room take this record even further.
Song subjects include the horrors of war, police brutality, destruction of the environment, rape culture, consumerism and much more. Expect a very heavy and much angrier approach from a band that has been around the block and matured their sound. Seven raging new tunes including the epic fourteen and a half minute track“We Don’t Need Them”, a song that will one day be ranked among similar greats as the SUBHUMANS “From the Cradle to the Grave” and AUS ROTTEN “And Now Back to Our Programming”.
This band features former members of Misery, Destroy, Pissed, and Civil Disobedience playing straight up hardcore/punk apparently inspired by the 80's UK style (though it sounds a little different than that), with three vocalists (male and female) shouting over simple and moderately fast chord progressions with a few dirty lead lines.

In 1996 AUS-ROTTEN released their first LP “The System Works For Them” on an unsuspecting punk scene. It spread like wildfire in a pre internet era within a genre that mostly depended on tape trading. (at least is was pre internet for us penniless punks) “The System Works For Them” was the perfect mix of anger and intelligence that the scene needed at the time (and still does today). It was like a wake up call that opened the eyes and ears to many punks the world over. The messages where crystal clear and most us were hooked as soon as the beginning shouts of “Boycott” bellowed over the speakers. I don’t believe any of us ever expected their message to resonate so well within the scene, but even more surprising is how the songs are just as relevant today as on they the day they were written. Which is why PROFANE EXISTENCE has decided to repress this record. We feel that that messages that AUS-ROTTEN brought to the table are to powerful to ignore. We feel that this LP is important and therefore should be highly available and priced affordably. We feel that those that would charge over exorbitant prices on eBay or Discogs have forgotten the message.
The Swedish gods of crust break three years of silence to unleash a new masterpiece of epic proportions. Twelve brutal new songs that layer new realms of gutteral intensity to the traditional Swedish d-beat KÄNG of the likes of TÖTALITAR, KRIGSHOT, WOLFBRIGADE, etc. And of course there is plenty of the traditional WARCOLLAPSE sound that emphasizes mournful dirges, captivating guitar leads, and vocal style that is as primal as it is guttteral. If you are a fan of their previoues releases then this will certainly not disappoint – delivering all the goods than made WARCOLLAPSE a name among legends. Their previous titles include the Crust As Fuck Existence CD on Distortion Records, Divine Intoxications LP/CD on Mind Control, split EP’s with DISRUPT and EXTINCTION OF MANKIND and a number of other EP’s, a live 10″ and video, plus several compilation tracks. In addition to releasing this new record, WARCOLLAPSE are also planning to tour outside of Sweden for the first time in years. October 2007 will see them on a mini-tour of Italy and there is even serious talk of a small US tour for 2008.

"BLACKOUT are amongst our favorite local bands, playing some of the most intense old-school punk rock to be heard anywhere in the world. With ASSRASH’s Gooch and Collin from FALLEN GRACES heading up a twin guitar attack, and a rhythm section comprises of PROVOKED’s Joe on Drums and Grant on Bass, BLACKOUT stacks the deck with some of the most gifted musicians our community has to offer. Musically this band pounds out the punk tuneage with a guitar heavy and gruff vocal style of POISON IDEA and the kind of rockin’ riffs that made ASSRASH so awesome." - Profane Existence
This tour-edition split CD that contains the tracks from APPALACHIAN TERROR UNIT's "Armageddon Won't Be Brought By the Gods..." EP and WARTORN's sold-out "Prey for Salvation" EP. A.T.U.'s sound has been compared to a modern day version of NAUSEA with crunching crust-core music and angry female vocals. WARTORN are made up from members of WORDS THAT BURN and CHOOSE YOUR POISON and play a brutally powerful take on Scandinavian crust: something like STATE OF FEAR meets WOLFBRIGADE. (Profane Existence)
