The much anticipated second full length release from one of the most active DIY punk bands in existence. Contained herein are ten raging tracks of brutal hardcore with influences that range from 80's American hardcore, Scandinavian d-beat thrash, and modern crustcore, including their own unique take on classics from POISON IDEA and STATE OF FEAR. Four of these tracks were previously released in 2007 as the limited edition Prey for Salvation EP that sold out in a matter of days, the others are totally brand new but in the same style and production. As with all WARTORN releases to date, the cover is beautifully illustrated by Marald, who raises the bar on quality work once again.

Charging Swedish punk attack, burning guitars and sore throats, cracked cymbals and worn out Discharge records, "KängNäve" (pronounced schang-naa-veh, meaning "crust fist") is the second full length album by Stockholm's humor-laced Sunday Morning Einsteins. Full tilt hardcore with a wickedly bent sense of humor, Sunday Morning Einsteins previously released an LP on Minneapolis Sin Fronterias label and a 7" ("Svensk Mangel" EP) on Prank. This LP follows the Prank EP in a double-time hardcore assault and/or salute on/to the beer sodden crusties who, at peak moments carefully holding a can of beer in one hand, raise the other hand in the KängNäve-crust fist!!! Okay, these guys might be kidding, but that's what they told Prank the concept was. Chalk it up to translation of Swedish humor and a band made up of members of legendary hardcore bands Wolf Brigade and Svart Snö not afraid to do a piss-take, at least lyrically, on their own scene. Musically it's up there with the best of detonating hardcore powerhouses, riffing with the complexity and overdrive of Svart Snö, but explosive in it's own direction.

“Hardcore Victim and Kamaset Levyt present the full length LP from Melbournes foremost Finnish Hardcore band Havittajat, with North and South American Distribution by Havoc. Raw and frenetic hardcore in the 1980’s Finnish style, reminding me a lot of the first Bastards LP, with just a touch of the influence of Melbourne crust and noise core.”

First of two Lps collecting all the recorded work of the Pist. The Pist were noteworthy for putting some of their best songs on splits and comps (as opposed to their worst songs as is the case with most bands) As a result these two LPs (or one CD) worth of 7" and comp tracks feature some of the best Pist material as opposed to the leftovers and out takes. This is the first of Two LPs and containts the classic Destroy Society 7", the Pist tracks from the split with Malachi Krunch, Punk USA, and Pogo Attack comp tracks. There's also some unreleased demo tracks and a few covers as a bonus.

”Third full length and final chapter of their trilogy started with Disllusione, followed by Mai Come Voi and ending with this new masterpiece of old school Italian hardcore punk (think of Wretched and Eu's Arse above any other) mixed with Scandi style d-beat (Anti Cimex, Wolfpack and Shitlickers) with a lot of UK82 echoes (G.B.H, Broken Bones, English Dogs and Varukers). Mario's typical pissed off vocals are now pushed over the top. Same for the guitar worships and the pummeling rhythm section. A little bit of metal here and there but don't call them metal punk!!! This is what Wretched would have sounded if they've ever played a Death Side cover performed by Anti Cimex. Definitely their best stuff up to date. 11 songs of pure Italian anger towards the usual common enemies. Artwork by Stiv Of War.” Agi-punk

Six years ago Russia’s Fatum first blasted our ears with their album Skverna. Six years is quite a long time in anything. But even longer in underground music. The band since have released records nearly every year, including split ep’s with Cancer Spreading and Distress.
With this, their new album Life Dungeon, they have surpassed themselves and reached a pinnacle in their music. People tend to debate platitude and genres in music. Whereas Fatum crank up their amps and don’t give two flying fucks what the latest avant-garde musical trend is.
Since their inception, their music is very much derived from the UK crust sound of Deviated Instinct and Out From The Void-era Antisect, but with the modus operandi being very much their own. This album opens with a wall of piercing feedback which develops into aggressive chugging with menacing chromatic chords. Also, Fatum have developed a more intense-styled, thrash-tinged guitar akin to Concrete Sox or Hellbastard. Certainly, the opening tune “Enter The Dungeon” has a Sewerside-era Concrete Sox influence. The vocals are rasping, hoarse and spat out like insults.
I’m sure in most reviews of Fatum the word ‘stenchcore’ will be mentioned – and that is fully understandable – yet there are parts such as the closing of the song “Fate” that ends very melodically. Which reoccurs, without being identical through “Escape The Dungeon,” giving it an almost prevailing tone. Of course it all eventually goes back to serious riffs. Honestly, I think could listen to the riff in “The Man Behind” all day.
