Another fast thrashing hardcore record from Wisconsin's U.S.V.; you might remember the thrasher they did on Havoc Records. The music is fast and furious but all the weird movie sound bites add a sense of comedy to the approach, but the U.S.V. lyrical content is quite good (even a song telling people to read the god damn lyric sheets!). This is a good record, and I would say anyone that likes D.S.13 or Code 13 is going to like this as well (not that U.S.V. sounds like either of these bands, but the same people that dig those bands will dig U.S.V.). Thrash on!
Ursut is a four-piece hardcorepunkband from Malmö, Sweden, and consist of members from a.o. Intensity, Kontrovers and Project Hopeless. The band started out late 2009 and was soon to record a well recieved demo. Ripping Scandinavian HC/Punk or D-Beat Punk Rock - 14 straight forward songs with a super tight and powerful rhythm section, shredding guitars, insane throaty shrieking vocals and great lyrics. Completed by great artwork from Steve/fartwork! “Dårarnas paradis” is straight on d-beat hardcorepunk with lyrics in swedish.
second fullength of this Swedish dödskäng punk unit, raw and brutal as a buldozer running over the fields of madness.

Fourth LP from Sweden's Victims. Victims have been the front of Swedish hardcore for many years mixing traditional Swedish D Beat and Crust sounds with more straight forward American hardcore influences. This LP has all the tight and crushing arrangements you'd expect from this crew. A few more songs leaning towards the "d beat rocknroll" end of hardcore, but over all very much in the same punishing tradition of the last two LPs.
From Lansing, Michigan, this is Vivisuk's premiere release... Five songs that are fast, thrashy and brutally beautiful. Featuring male and female vocals and oodles of D-beat goodness...
VOORHEES have once again donned their hockey masks and are ready to have at you with a razor sharp axe.The latest piece of VOORHEES violence is simply titled "13" so what better way to rant about it than list 13 reasons why you need to own it?
The Swedish gods of crust break three years of silence to unleash a new masterpiece of epic proportions. Twelve brutal new songs that layer new realms of gutteral intensity to the traditional Swedish d-beat KÄNG of the likes of TÖTALITAR, KRIGSHOT, WOLFBRIGADE, etc. And of course there is plenty of the traditional WARCOLLAPSE sound that emphasizes mournful dirges, captivating guitar leads, and vocal style that is as primal as it is guttteral. If you are a fan of their previoues releases then this will certainly not disappoint – delivering all the goods than made WARCOLLAPSE a name among legends. Their previous titles include the Crust As Fuck Existence CD on Distortion Records, Divine Intoxications LP/CD on Mind Control, split EP’s with DISRUPT and EXTINCTION OF MANKIND and a number of other EP’s, a live 10″ and video, plus several compilation tracks. In addition to releasing this new record, WARCOLLAPSE are also planning to tour outside of Sweden for the first time in years. October 2007 will see them on a mini-tour of Italy and there is even serious talk of a small US tour for 2008.
A compiled CD containing 22 songs from this beast of crust as fuck punk band from Sweden, if you do not know them by now you should definitely dig your selves into what we have here!!
Warcry is a Portland Oregon based D-beat band featuring Todd of Tragedy and His Hero Is Gone fame on vocals and Keith from Hellshock, The Estranged, Lebenden Toten and Black Water Records on drums.
This LP collects Warhead’s out-of-print singles (Cry of the Truth, Drive It in Your Head and the Disorder split) and compilation appearances on one handy full length. I’m going to guess that if you are aware of who this band is and are familiar with their records that you are already putting this zine down to track this sucker down on the internet, but in case you are unaffiliated, here is the deal. Warhead started kicking around Japan around 1991 and over the following twenty some-odd years released some of the most disturbing and intense hardcore that ever came from the island. The recordings are cleaner than the bands that predated them, giving the listener the full scope of the chaos instead of burying it under noise and, despite their connections (in later incarnations) to Framtid and Gloom, the band remained their own entity and cast their own crazy curses on themselves. Their live shows have been sparse in the U.S., but those of us who have been lucky enough to witness them (saw them on the famous Forward/Tragedy tour a few years back where they (sorry guys!) blew Tragedy off the stage) have walked away just a little bit more jaded. Highest recommendations! –Ian Wise
Wolfbrigades 4th full length and their best one so far. They bring in good elements of the pre-WB times while still keeping the new achieved skills from records like “In Darkness…” Käng to the max. – Cooperation with Farewell
