"Here's the debut full-length from this extremely young looking Swedish band who plays a very rocked out form of hardcore/punk with a dual vocal attack of fierce screams backed by even higher screams, and they actually manage to come across without sounding generic, which is really cool. Rock 'n' roll influences may be a very typical influence for a lot of hardcore/punk bands today, but these kids aren't rehashing typical 70's rock chord progressions or anything at all. Sure, every now and then a little of that will pop up, but the overall feel is much more of a modern spin on such classic fare, with a decent amount of melodic licks and some really nice lead work that seems a little tongue-in-cheek at times but does indeed add to the songs. "En Ny Generation St?veltramp" is among the faster and more energetic tracks in terms of relentless vocal attacks and driving rhythms with a good sense for transitions, "Ett Liv Som F?nge" seems sparser at times but borders on some catchy elements and just has a different kind of sound than many of the other songs, while "F?rdummad Av Status" is another fast 'n' fierce number with a good blend of hardcore and rock influences for another energetic and memorable minute-long blast of material. The production is pretty good in my opinion. I think they should turn up the bass since the guitars aren't all that thick, but the drums sound good, they do a good job of balancing the vocals and the guitars, etc. The guitar tone works pretty well for the rocked out nature of their riffing, too. The layout is all done in black and white with lots of collaged photos and a cover that clearly mocks the "Appetite for Destruction" artwork. The lyrics are a mix of Swedish and English and song explanations are included throughout. Despite standard attacks on cops, war, and that kind of thing, the only thing that annoys me about the lyrics are tracks like "Scouting the Target, Planning the Action" that are all amped up on "The Anarchist Cookbook" and encouraging people to take action and pose a "threat to society", which just seems immature and falsely idealistic to me (especially since sometimes their sense of humor isn't as clear on such topics). But other than that they do have some good ideas in place, and the content seems sincere. Not bad. I definitely dig the sense of creativity in their riffing style and overall approach, it's just that the songwriting isn't all that memorable or powerful to me at the moment, but as they grow into their chosen niche I think they'll progress nicely on that front." - Aversion online

Krautbomber are a revelation in times where “deutschpunk” is a four-letter-word. While other bands underbid each other in the levels of their musical and lyrical skills this band from Mönchengladbach proves that punk is not dead yet and that anger is still a good fuel for music. Maybe this derives partly from the fact that the band’s singer and guitarist Michi is in Nein Nein Nein as well, another star on the dark sky of german punk.
But Krautbomber are anything but a copy of Nein Nein Nein. Okay, the characteristic vocals can’t be overheard but music is a lot closer to classic AZ style hardcore punk. The sound is good and charmingly dirty. Their style is very straight, tight and aggressive and the songs are short. No d-beat, no youth crew, no hype shit, just good hc/punk with a punch.
If you aren’t one of the lucky ones (like me) who got the limited first press with screen printed cover then you got another chance now as there is a vinyl repress and finally a cd version as well. And read the lyrics of “fussball, sex & peinlichsein”. It’s so true… [jan]

"Swedish bands have been at it for decades now, churning out a non-stop barrage of death metal influenced type of crust punk that has influenced a lot of bands out there.
This newest release from Sweden is no exception.
With a brutal blend of heavy duty metallic dirge and a raw käng punk attitude, these six songs are a standout among most of the demos I’ve heard in a while. I’ve listened to this CD several times on repeat, and yes, it’s awesome. What’s most interesting is the band consists of only two people. Both Luka and Johan growl on this one; Luka plays both the bass and guitar, while Johan totally obliterates the drums (all the way from d-beat to blast beats and so on).
Lyrically, they don’t offer anything different than the old but formidable formulae about war, death and starvation. So if you’re looking for something more diverse or intellectually challenging, don’t play this record. However, if you’re looking for a powerful Scandinavian metal punk in the veins of Skitsystem, Martyrdöd, and Wolfbrigade, then Circle might be right up your alley.
Excellent debut from this minimalist metallic crust band."

Ursut is a four-piece hardcorepunkband from Malmö, Sweden, and consist of members from a.o. Intensity, Kontrovers and Project Hopeless. The band started out late 2009 and was soon to record a well recieved demo. Ripping Scandinavian HC/Punk or D-Beat Punk Rock - 14 straight forward songs with a super tight and powerful rhythm section, shredding guitars, insane throaty shrieking vocals and great lyrics.
