The Bristles new album Reflections of the Bourgeois Society. 11 raw punk tracks from the class war and the worst capitalist crisis ever. Banks, yellow unions, employers and many more, all of them receives one's due. The Swedish band The Bristles reunited in 2008. The band has since then released records with their old stuff and one EP with new material, Union Bashing State in 2009. The band has also during this time toured around northern Europe several times. Say no to racism, fascism, sexism, homophobia and capitalism. Another world is possible.

"
Stockholm Pigs formed in the spring of 1995 and split up in early 1998. During that time they released a split CD with Deprophobia, a live 7" (Banned in Stockholm) and a 10" (Passed out on the floor fucking HC give me more), as well as a 1996 european tour with Paid. They claim they were banned from playing in Stockholm and Mariestad.
Most of the members went on to other bands, such as Imperial Leather and Sunday Morning Einsteins."

After "Market Yourself" (2004) and "Attack" (2007), SEE YOU IN HELLfrom Brno, Czech Republic, come up with their third 12“ LP, full with8 tracks of raw and furious hardcore/punk with massive gang-choruses –perhaps the most straightforward material the band has offered duringthe 13 years of their career, but this is left to the listeners tojudge...

Very cool old school sounding Czech hardcore punk, which brings to mind a lot of old US and European hardcore influences. SEE YOU IN HELL is fairly straight-forward, no-frills stuff and won’t throw you a curve ball stylistically, which in my book can be something very good. Sometimes you want your hardcore served up raw and that’s when you listen to SEE YOU IN HELL” (NM, Maximum RocknRoll #299)

Sorry state review:
Extended Hell: Mortal Wound 12” (Media Disease) After two beastly 7”s, this debut 12” from New York’s Extended Hell annihilates all expectations. If you have any doubt bands are still making exciting, intense, and artistically vital hardcore in 2019, I would invite you to listen to this LP and convince me it’s not all of those things and more. Stylistically, Extended Hell lies somewhere between the best of the neo-Totalitär-type Swedish bands (think Herätys, Stress SS, etc.) and the brutal, apocalyptic crust of Framtid or Disclose, with the former's finesse the latter's power. While that’s a great stylistic spot to be in, Extended Hell isn't notable because they’ve combined two tasty ingredients, but because they’ve made them their own, spicing their bruising hardcore with some of the most creative and memorable riffing in recent memory. Moments like the primitive non-riff that drives the title track, the Buzzcocks-esque 2-note guitar lead in “Bitter Defeat,” and the almost melodic guitar leads in the chorus to the closing “Dissident” are what I live for, the reason I listen to so many new records: because there might be something as cool as this on it. Given hardcore’s narrow parameters it’s inevitable that we see a lot of records that are great for what they are, but you can't dismiss Mortal Wound so easily. I predict you’ll be seeing this record on a lot of best-of lists come December, and it deserves all the accolades it (hopefully) gets. If you only buy one new hardcore record this year, Mortal Wound would be a fine choice.

Newest recordings from swedish hardcore / crust band M:40. Four new songs about giving up and fighting back. The title of this ten inch, which in english would be the pale horse of death, is a natural continuation of the the last album Arvsynd. Except nothing less than heaviness combined with d-beat madness, desperate outbursts and controlled eerie darkness. They haven’t changed the weapons, but time has sharpened the knives. Songs written on the cold hearted plains of Skaraborg, recorded at the End studio on the unforgiving fields outside Lund. The bomb has fallen yet again. War is already upon us.
"Classic 90ies D-Beat Raw Punk/Crustpunk straight outta UK. Their demo from the 90ies including the songs from the split 7inch with Disclose and a few tracks from compilations. The band features Stick (of Doom, Excrement Of War, ENT etc etc etc) and people of Cracked Cop Skulls, Napalm Death, Ripcord. Total Discharge Style Raw Punk Noize, the way we like it." - Burning anger Records

Review by louder than war:
Burning Flag’s 3rd album Matador is equal parts crushing, subterranean, atmospheric and galloping momentum. It has a heavy dose of the sonics of modern metal, but at it’s heart it is political punk says Nathan Brown.
Dismissing Burning Flag as “Scathing Northern Punk Noise” as they claim on Facebook would be selling them short. Their music will be right up your alley if you love a bit of the old “crust”. Where metal meets punk, with pounding drums and anarcho attitude. They’ve listened to rule number one of punk: hit the drums hard. Downtuned guitars with the odd minor chord ooze heaviness with the metally tone providing a satisfying elastic twang from single strings here and there. Combined with the crushing bass sound, at times the music is dark enough to sound subterranean. There are brief moments where they have a more atmospheric feel with a hint of Killing Joke and the death rock sound. Whilst they start off at breakneck speed, Burning Flag don’t rely on this gimmick, using heaviness and good driving riffs to power the album along....."

Warcry is a Portland Oregon based D-beat band featuring Todd of Tragedy and His Hero Is Gone fame on vocals and Keith from Hellshock, The Estranged, Lebenden Toten and Black Water Records on drums. Savage Machinery is the band's fourth full-length LP, which was just released on the band's own imprint Warcry Records for the U.S. market. For the first time on Agipunk, Warcry's Savage Machinery features ten tracks of vicious and brutal sounding D-BEAT. Those who think of this band as Tragedy's faster, louder, and angrier little brothers (mostly since because they have the same vocalist), are completely wrong, as even with the similar vocal style Warcry sound pretty much nothing like Tragedy. As with all of their other records, the inspiration here is classic d-beat of the type that we generally associate with mid-to-late-80s Scandinavia... if you dig records like Anti-Cimex's "Criminal Trap" 12", Totalitär's "Sin Egan Motstandare", or Nuclear Death Terror's "S/T" LP you'll definitely be able to rage out to this one. Great riffs, totally bruising recording, and all of the top-notch quality you would expect from this camp. These ten songs are flawlessly executed and will definitely appeal to fans of this style of music. Highly recommended! Enjoy!
