The Peel Sessions 1988–90 is a Bolt Thrower album consisting of three Peel Sessions. It was originally released on Strange Fruit in 1991 and recorded live in the studio. Dale Griffin produced it. The tracks 1 to 4 are from the first Peel session. Tracks 5 to 8 are from their second Peel session, and the last four tracks are from the last Peel session. This is the only recording of the track "Domination." The intro of the song was later used for "Prophet of Hatred."

Entrenched In Hell follows up their 2022 self-titled demo with emerging themes of war, cults, famine and mortality that evoke a more personal attachment to the subject matter. Oakland has made a habit of defining and defying genre tropes since before the term “extreme music” was part of the lexicon. DEADFORM is no exception to that experience. Three established adepts of Oakland’s idiosyncratic musical history have used their combined, multi-decade immersion to create a sonic fusion of punk and metal that is uniquely distinctive while also being simultaneously familiar. The ashes of their former projects have merged with the toxic waters of the Bay to synthesize DEADFORM. For fans of the members previous work, UK Crust specifically Amebix and even Killing Joke. Here is a fruit of Gran Canarian and Scottish friendship – Karoshi. A very moody and atmospheric album created by Jose and Chicote in Spain and then submitted to Brian from Disaffect to record his vocals. The result is rather pleasant listening – a light marriage between metal, black metal and punk, but it just doesn’t overwhelm you as many of the black metal recordings do. At least they do it to me. This one is very varied and it has a lot of punk melody thanks to d-beat drumming and the vocals. So, a good piece of light metal for a hardcore punks!
One sided 12” is a debut record by this Milano area located band delivering 10 songs of pure italian harcore. You can find this touch of insanity of old italian bands here mixed with modern hardcorepunk sound and attitude. Comes as a cooperation of several european punk labels with vinyl silkscreened on the blank side.
"The Oi! label is predisposed to a certain musical monotony, despite being formed against the status quo, which infects this LP. While melodic and political, each song on Al Otro Lado is punctuated by nothing, it all sounds the same. Listen to “Al Otro Lado,” followed by “Nadie Escucha” to understand my point. Spain-based ROTURA is idyllic in theory, with fast-paced instrumental pop energy and a powerful vocalist, Silvia, yet they fall flat in practice. The frenetic drums were enjoyable on most tracks, but it’s hard to appreciate them between the guitar’s almost-buzzing quality and the one-note vocals. Missbrukarna started out in 1980, but some of the members were already involved in the first wave of punk bands in Sweden, such as The Kallare (The Basement). That particular year, the band did a split 7" with Panik and three years later they recorded the fast & raw hardcore punk masterpiece called "Krigets Gentlemän", which was, unfortunately, their last recording, because many members moved out of town after its release. The band officially broke up in 1988, but their influence just kept on growing. For example, in the late 80s, they had strongly influenced Swedish hardcore legends Totalitär, a band that in their very beginnings played some of Missbrukarna's never released hardcore songs and did a few covers.With the release of this little beast, you finally have the opportunity to enjoy these 17 songs by blasting 'em in their original format, unless you haven't already spent a shitload of your hard-earned cash on the original release.Each tape comes with a 12-page A5 booklet featuring a great Stuart Schrader interview with Rolf, originally published in MRR.
