"Their new recording in the form of a cassette with five songs spewed a damn ripe metallic crust punk, live concerts only prove how this band is in shape, they are very well playing. This time with a new reinforcement in the band was replaced guitarist by a new one and then there is a new singer from previous bands Narcömancer, Misantropia. Crust Punk Metal of Berlin composed in the international line-up of Italy / Portugal, as is common in these parts, members played in bands of slightly different style such as Suburban Uproar or Hangover Generation, drummer Fede plays in Äss-Äult. The cassette was published in the 200 pieces in a golden, very good processed version packaged in cellophane and is really something to care about, a lot of great (well built) riffs, a strong guitar wall with a massive sound is the basis of this great recording. "For the twenty year anniversary of the band from Horní Bečva, the official album ,,In Ruinis Urbium - In The Ruins Of Cities" is released after many years, a solid hc/punk containing by twelve tracks with objective lyrics about life and the world. In the music there are not missing melodies with choral singing of different guests, trombone and especially violin, which completes the whole thing nicely and give it an uniform and unconventional way of originality, which fit nicely into the whole concept of the recording with quality sound from the Davos studio, in this music world, after all, punk has many forms and this is one of them. In terms of graphics, there is offered a soaked drawing of the cover in several colors, which is eye-catching, I have to admit that the band has definitely taken a big step forward in it's own favor during it's long existence, it comes out in a colored version on slightly transparent, orange vinyl with purple splatters and as always a limited edition - there is none, all vinyls are limited, shrink wrapped covers in a total number of 520 pieces. Drums and Guitar recorded September – December 1985 in Bowlingstudion. Bass recorded March 2017 in Studio Mangel. Vocals recorded November 2017 in Bengts Studio.
WARHEAD come from the former capital of the Empire, Kyoto, and there’s no doubt they’re among the top classic hard core bands from the Land of the Rising Sun. Insane Society now releases the most important of their 1991-2004 work on one LP wrapped in a cover by well-known japcore artist Sugi – 22 songs from their out-of-print and hard-to-find 7″, split and compillation releases, boasting remastered sound (as heard on a CD previously released by Blood Sucker Records). The first song, “Cry of the Truth”, is a solid punch in the face right off and this maelstrom of the most frantic hardcorepunk won’t let you go until the needle has come to the last groove of the record. Maniac vocals mixed with massive sung-along refrains, guitars in the red, roaring bass, rabid drumming and cymbals sounding like a whiplash – all this makes for an incredibly loud and energetic mix, supported by lyrics full of defiance and desire to never conform and to never give up!

When it comes to japanese hardcore, it seems that a lot of people are obsessed with ADK or Dogma Records. Solid labels of course, but when I think to the label that defines japanese classic hardcore sound, I only have one name in my mind: the legendary Selfish Records.
This label has released over the years so many classics by even more classic bands such as Death Side, Gauze, Outo, Systematic Death, Lip Cream and many others. Not to mention all their classic compilation LPs. Such a great label!
Along with Gauze & Warhead, Nightmare is one of the few classic japanese bands that never broke up and it's still going strong after all these years. But when it comes to their records, 1990's "Give Notice Of Nightmare" LP is their highlight moment. Perfect sound, incredible songwriting.
I can't find anything to complain about 'coz there's nothing wrong here. Classic metallic japanese hardcore/punk in one of its finest moments.
