The inside of the cover also includes two essays, one about how the concept of anti-Semitism is abused by Israeli hardliners and the government to justify its actions, and another entitled “Did You Ever Think What It’s Like to Shoot Somebody in the Head?” No doubt this release is sure to cause quite a stir in the band’s home country. Murder Disco X is a modern hardcore punk band, originally from Stuttgart, Germany. The band formed in 1992 using the name TIMETOSUFFERPOWER and renamed to the Murder Disco Experience in 1996. Over time they name was reduced to Murder Disco X, often they are called MDX.
Murder Disco X's music is characterized by its no frills hardcore punk sound and political yet witty lyrics. With band members being into Punk for over 25 years they stick to a more classical Hardcore sound with influences of the early 80's Punk-Scenes of both sides of the atlantic ocean.

Brazilian crust and fastcore madness
Gritos de Alerta (Brazil) takes side A and cranks out four quick tracks of burly crust punk with plenty of speed, gruff vocals mixed with blistering screams, etc.
They started in mid 90's as Slemäters and under that name they released a couple of demo tapes:"Slem åt folket","Kaos i kefir" and "Kärnvapenkrig", they contributed tracks in "Really Fast vol 9" comp (Really Fast Rec.s) and "I slaughter singing madly anthem" ep (1995,Devil in Hell Rec.s) then changed their name to F.H."Your own holocaust" came out on Distortion Records in 1996 and was band's only release as Final Holocaust (they also appeared in "Total frontkrock" comp.). The band delivers Swedish thrash, there was a version of orange vinyl, a girl on vocal duties but her voice sounds like a man growls. The guy who tortures the drum kit later joined Driller KillerCheck Slemäters myspace for some demo tracks, any help from people from Sweden on "Total frontkrock" comp or Slemäters demos or about the band in general is appreciated

Ok, I don't speak French or Italian but I was diggin this record. I gotta say it again though, why am I reviewing records from 3 years ago? Is the mail system really that bad? All bad jokes aside, this may be worth the 3 year wait. Good straight ahead mathy rock songs. Not being able to understand the lyrics made it difficult at times when I assume they're trying to be artistic and serious, (oh, you know what I'm talking about) and I couldn't help improvising my own lyrics ("pass the broccoli", "this toast is cold" etc, you get the idea) It's pretty in line with today's pop punk style constructs (verse-chorus-verse-bridge- etc) but had good energy and great dynamics. Add an acoustic track to taste. Makes me wish I could speak a foreign language.
