Fun that Johan on Flyktsoda has started publishing records, I also like the big format. This sounds good and I think a little on the Baboon Show in a bit more distorted format and the female singer Jenny sings well. It's quite messy music but always in that style so I really like it. Do not sound hardcore in any way if you thought it without saying a distorted form of punk rock that's really good. I like very many female singers in the punk too and there are so many good examples of these in the punks like Poly Styrene, Debbie Harry, Beki Bondage and now Jenny from Shaking heads. The ten songs are all small masterpieces in themselves and Shaking Heads is really a band that you should check out! 7/9-2017 - SKRUTTMAGAZINE

Utterly political, raging crustpunk, driven with fe/male vocals. This disc gives us a new approach to society and it’s boundaries. Taking up where Rock n riot left off; 01.05.1886 are the natural continuation of the 2nd album. The album is essential in every home; not just the punkcollection. Everyone has to reflect upon which society we wanna live in. Do we need war? Do we need the capitalistic system?

Portland's own Rubble are back with 10 tracks of catchy & driving anarcho peace punk delivered with Urgency!
sorrystate::
Much anticipated debut 12” from this Portland punk band. Their previous single on Distort Reality was one of my favorites of 2017 and I was eager to see if they could keep the magic going on a big slab of vinyl. Well, I think they have! That last single hinted that Rubble are more than your typical UK82 homage, and the 12” confirms it. The style here ranges from amped-up pogo punk a la Sad Boys to bruising, Partisans-esque UK82 to anthemic oi! to dark, atmospheric anarcho punk. Rubble excel at all of these styles (particularly the fast UK82 stuff… “Blue Lives” and “U.N.I.C.O.R.” are up there with Savageheads for top-notch Partisans worship), but it’s the weirder and/or more melodic parts I love the most. If you liked “Gaslighting” from the previous 7”, then “Eat the Rich” will be a highlight. “Missing Stair” (my favorite track) shows that the guitarist can throw out leads just as catchy as any of the vocal melodies, and the haunting, anarcho-style spoken-word breakdown is a great way to end the side. Like I said, the more mid-paced and melodic tracks are my favorite, but Rubble’s strong sense of song craft and arrangement are on point throughout. Rubble have a new bass player on this record, and his nimble playing is one of the record’s highlights. I also want to mention the lyrics, which are very strong. They’re blunt, avoiding metaphor and tackling contemporary topics like abusers in the scene, “blue lives matter,” and wealth inequality. That might sound like a list of trending Twitter topics, but Rubble’s lyrics neither toe the punk party line nor parrot information from other media. The lyrics strike me as one person’s honest, impassioned response to what’s happening in the world right now. Indeed, Rubble is a punk band for right now, and while they’re steeped in the past they don’t seem interested in rehashing it.

Portland's metal punk champions are back with a 6 track LP of filthy rock. Building off classic English cross over like the English Dogs or the Exploited this band has spent over a decade now honing their craft and this record is as raging as anything in their catalog. Proving that some things in punk can get better with age.

Minneapolis veteran punks are at it again! This 10 track album will mark the bands 10 year anniversary. “Into the Depths” directly reflects the bands rage and anger against a world that has turned its back on itself.
"Dark, brooding metallic crust punk is what Minneapolis’s War//Plague are all about, bringing to mind such bands as Amebix, Axegrinder, Deviated Instinct, Extinction Of Mankind and fellow Minneapolis crusties Misery – a sound that is as every inch as dark and grim as the images the band’s name and the intro and outro to their debut album ‘On A Darker Dawn’ of swarming flies conjures up, and as harsh and abrasive as a long Minnesota winter. The band mix up doomy and darkly atmospheric clean guitar driven passages and chugging mid paced riffs with raging punked up distorted aggression with some frenzied lead playing thrown in for good measure, they know how to mix up tempos well resulting in a varied and dynamic aural assault on the ears and their sound continually twists and turns with various metal and crust/punk influences entwining themselves around each other creating a perfectly balanced crossover, a sound that should appeal just as much to metalheads as it does to crust punks." - TERRORIZER.com

Energetic female-fronted melodic punk from Poland in the vein of Assassinators and Post Regiment! Great!!
10 songs (9 brand new ones plus 1 oldie re-recorded), the first Life Scars studio recording since the split with BAGNA (that was released quite some years ago).
Fast, catchy punk rock with strong, anarchist message that never forgets Emma Goldman's quote: "If I can't dance, it's not my revolution."
Recorded by Jedras (Apatia, Herrida Profunda) at his Riot Studios, at the time located at the famous Rozbrat squat in Poznan, Poland.

Here is the long awaited second fullength album from these 5 punx from Hannover. Exilent - Raging dispunk/crust that we already know from their first and second albums. Ini is sounding great with her raspy vocals with some raw backings and choruses. On this record the band have progressed further with better arrangements that work well with their lyrics, somewhere between dark reality and apocalyptic misery. Moribund scum - Metalcrust from Brunswick, Germany, in the vein of Cancer Spreading, Fucking Amazing! The LP comes in an inside-out printed gatefoldcover and includes downloadcode and stickers!

We have now entered the final form of Exit Hippies' evolution. Their transformation, from crust to dance, is complete. Rejoice, get jiggy with it, or just leave the hall.
Exit Hippies began as a band that loved crust punk and dance music in equal parts. Their mix of shit-fi Extreme Noise Terror/Sore Throat worship with lo-fi acid house techno is legendary, and changed my life forever. Over their long discography, they have made a lot of brutal crustcore records, with varying amounts of techno interlaced throughout them.
In their final form, Exit Hippies has truly fused crust and dance into a hybrid form of music that's unlike anything else I'm familiar with. No longer content to just have "punk" and "dance" rubbing shoulders, they've brought these styles together to produce an uncompromising, defiant mutant offspring that defies categorization. Imagine Underground Resistance fronted by Dean Jones, remixing Confuse songs. Maybe "Police Bastard" as performed by Model 500. If A Band Called Flash is playing "heavy heavy future funk", this is "noise noise dystopia funk".
On second thought, don't even try to understand, just dance it out."

Mexico City has maintained one of the most exciting punk scenes in the world for the past few years. From SPHC fam like Muerte and Inservibles to inspiring groups like Anti-Sex and Riña, we always have one eye on what's happening 'south of the border'. Of course Sacrificio doesn't escape our attention. They made our ears perk up with their self-released 2013 demo tape, they made our heats beat faster with their 2014 debut 7" on Cintas Pepe Records, and now they've got our fists in the air with a powerhouse first album.
Sacrificio play hardcore punk the way it was meant to be played: straight from the heart by way of the gut, full of character and attitude, without pose or copying. On this LP, they're at their fastest, with their most complex arrangements and dynamic songs yet, but also their most aggressive and unhinged. I'm reminded of 90's bands like Capitalist Casualties and G-Anx, building upon 80's bands like Heresy, HHH, and Raped Teenagers.
Fall in love with punk again. =)
Art by my hardcore brother Yecatl (Cintas Pepe Records, Muerte and a million more bands).
Deviated Instinct formed in 1984 and were a crucial pioneering band in the early British punk/metal scene. Along with bands like Antisect and The Amebix, Deviated Instinct’s music has influenced legions of bands and helped to define the sound we know today as “Crust”. This is their first new studio release in over 22 years. It’s everything fans have come to expect from Deviated Instinct and more. This album features four songs of epic proportions. Their sound on this record bridges the gap between d-beat style crust and heavy metallic doom. The songs are well thought out and skillfully played with top notch studio production. Includes a download card for a digital version plus extra bonus material. Profane Existence is proud to be apart of this release!

Hailing from the depths of the Irish North West, Subordinate breath new life to Irish hardcore scene showing there is more coming out of this Island than what the crust stronghold of Dublin has to offer. ‘Respect existence or expect resistance’ will be Subordinates first full length having unleashed a 12″ EP ‘To See Their Demise’. Evolving their sound into a lengthy crushing discernible force that grasps to influences from Spanish crust bands like Ekkaia and Madame German over an inherent Irish crust sound creating hardcore contortion overriden by politicalized lyrics through contrasting battling vocals.
