The third LP from Makabert Fynd who are certainly manifesting themselves as one of the more active bands as far as recording goes with 3 LPs in not even two years. Plus EPs and splits. And as with all their releases they maintain a very high level of quality and as far as I’m concerned this is their best effort yet, alongside the debut 7″ and split with Nice Idiot. Raging, pissed, roaring… fast and furious hardcore råpunk! The sound is rawer than on their previous LP and the songs have a more intense approach – a direct hit, leaving nothing standing.

Mint 2005 Split LP With Custom Insert From These Two Finnish Punk Bands, Limited to 400 Copies. "Lähdön Aika Are On Their Side Only Offering Four Tracks In Eighteen Minutes So It's Definitely Not Your Typical Finnish Raw Hardcore Here. No, This Is Heavy And Slow, But Still Much More In The Scandinavian Tradition Than Newer American Bands Like Tragedy And From Ashes Rise. Dark And Doomy Finnish Crust Moving Forward Like A Fucking Steamroller. All Their Tracks Are Sung In Finnish, Which Makes This Sound Even Harsher. Unfortunately There Aren't Any English Translations So I Have No Idea On What They're Talking About. Burn Again, Also Finland, Are Cranking Out Seven Tracks In A Little Over Nineteen Minutes So We're Talking A Bit More Speed Here. Nothing That Will Give Them A Ticket Though. This Is Rawer And Reminds Me Of A Less Heavy And More Primitive, And I Mean That In The Best Way Possible, Wolfbrigade. Quite Hard And Rhythmic With Melodic Leads Here And There Keep Me Interested For A While - But Not Enough Memorable Tracks Makes Me Lose It Again To Be Honest. In Whole They're Doing A Solid Effort Even Though I Would've Lost A Couple Of Tracks To Maintain The Quality All The Way Through. But, As I Said - Solid Finnish Crustcore. Burn Again Express Most Of Their Feelings In English But Also Have Two Tunes In Finnish And Their Lyrics Deal With Our World Coming To An End, Nazis, And Fucked Up Leaders To Name Some Topics." - Attacked Fanzine

new Songs by los dolares from spain/venezuela! more crusty as the previous releases... they team up with zuschanden from freiburg/germany. zuschanden are people from apatia no, never build ruins, hellborn messiah... they play a kind of neocrust with some rock´r´roll hints.. awesome records...
It took a while, but here it is! A great split with new songs from both bands appearing on it. LEADERSHIT features folx from "Ekkaia", "Cop on Fire" and say they play a similar style of crust punk, very d-beat influenced, but much more down to serious rock-ideas here. Heavy, fat and rolling! Live they are an intense and amazing act to see - DERROTA follow their, if you ask me, already superp self produced LP here with a row of new ass kicking d-beat " RocknRoll " Crustpunk attacks. If you´re into the "Nuevo Espania Crustpunk" genre type of punk, you gotta find your new enigma here...tehehe... No seriously!
An amazing split 12" with the Hellgium crew from LAST LEGION ALIVE (members of SILENCE MEANS DEATH, LINK...) they make a blackened crust metal with influences from AMTICIMEX, BATHORY, VENOM, ANTICIMEX, DOOM and ENT, early SLAYER and others thrash/black metal from the 80's... Really excellent!!!HELLSTORM from Greece deliver us a mix between crustcore and death/black metal with nice lyrics and a fuckin' rhythmic section...Excellent artwork by STIV VISIONS OF WAR!
Khatarina is an all-female crust punk band from Turku, Finland. It si formed by five brave women and tough musicians: Anne and Kerttu for the voices, Johanna at the guitar, Helena at the bass and Laura at the drums. The band was formed on 2003 to play aggressive hardcore with feminist attitude. They sing partly in Finnish and partly in English. Their songs are more relevant in the social sense by being feminist in nature taking on such issues as gender roles, alcohol abuse and macho attitudes towards women in bands etc.

Instinto is new band from Barcelona, Spain they formed in 2011 but the members were (are?) involved in many bands such as Totälickers, Afganistan Yeye’s, Infäme, Disundead, Hijxs Taradxs and others. Here we have their first lp which was released in 2012 by Svoboda Records and is also available for streaming in bandcamp. The record consists of ten tracks and an amazing blending of crustcore, D-beat with hints of metal and to be more specific, Swedish Death Metal: The usual D-Beat drumming is fast and steady, bass is heavy pounding, guitar sound is thick and solid with a metal edge, the crust/hardcore riffs are here and also some leading guitar parts add some melodies that paint the songs and remind Wolfbrigade, Skitsystem, Tragedy, From Ashes Rise and the likes. The singer has a nice and throatty voice and delivers the goods, he sings in Spanish and is accompanied by some screamed/yelled backing vocals. Lyrics included in a sheet (why not English translation?) and sound quality is great. All and all this is a great release full of power and energy, there is no weak spot in the record, everything was made the way has to be.This is probably still available so check Svoboda Rec.s or the labels/distros listed in this page. Future plans include a second lp on Svoboda and a split ep with Rhukkus from Mexico.
Swedish monster that was previously only available as an expensive and limited import on De Nihil Records.Members of Totalitar, Meanwhile, Heratys and Kvoteringen.Absolutely raging Swedish hardcore very much in the vein of the last Totalitar LP.This pressing is essentially the same as the Swedish pressing except for the cover being printed on a dull flat stock instead of glossy.
Hungary vs Canada, grind/crust Vs. E.N.T-like crust.
Damaging 80's Finnish noisepunk earslaughter from both bands!!! Co-release with Power It Up and Hohnie records in Germany.
Swedish teamup for a raw and brutal split with the d-beat pounding madness cracking it all up. Frihet ear-distruction, Honnör ss Traditional Scandi hardcore. Limited edition of 300 copies.
SKVERNA is a word older than 500 years and it denotes something bad, saddening with a cloud, misery, decay... The music of FATUM perfectly reflects the meaning of this word. Harsh, heavy metal punk sounding like an omen of the coming darkness. The sound of the recording bears a pretty dirty atmosphere, but I cannot say the instruments are unclear. They rather bring the sonic vibe that was associated with the birth of three important musical styles - death metal, black metal and crust. Vibe that carries you far beyond the limits of a modern heavy sound. The whole of this merciless composition is accompannied with vocals in the Russian mother tongue, which shifts FATUM to even another dimension. Now comes the time for you to appreciate the raw sound of the Russian language. If you are looking for musical comparisons, I'd say that this band draws inspiration from such bands as BOLT THROWER, CELTIC FROST, AMEBIX, DARKTHRONE, AXEGRINDER and last but not least VENOM. 25 minutes 5 original songs + two covers: Messiah by HELLHAMMER and Hades by BATHORY.
Good stuff from this angry hardcore band out of Greensboro North Carolina. The sound is hard and harsh and it has a dismal overtone that helps give the record some quality depth and character. In addition, the songs are both memorable and catchy, which makes for a really good listen. The lyrics are political and fairly negative with a lot of anger bleeding through. This is some good shit, and it wouldn't be the end of the world to have your face down in this shit. -Written by Kent McLard and originally published in Heartattack #31
Their first album in 7 years. Return of Phil Vane (original vocalist) to the line up along side Dean Jones. Return to the roots of ENT with grinding hardcore punk music & politically & socially aware lyrics. No more words needed!
The 80s Dutch answer to EXTREME NOISE TERROR!! Includes all demos, rehearsal and live recordings. Dual vocal raw as fuck Crust/HC delirium, think of E.N.T. meets SORE THROAT (Unhindered By Talent period). Short fast and filthy audio massacre, if you are collecting bands that generated grindcore and crustcore, this is a total must have!
The vinyl version from EMBALMING THEATRE first full length. These Swiss sickos play straight forward, good produced Grind Death that combines the heavy groove of MORTICIAN or IMPETIGO with the drive and intensity of oldschool legends like the almighty REPULSION! Limited to 500 copies!!!!!!!!!!!
Havoc brings us another crucial DISCHARGE reissue! WHY is an unrelenting blast of raw punk anger. This genre defining record turned up the intensity of hardcore punk several notches. A searing protest against the insanity of war and madness of politicians set to the most powerful and bombastic hardcore assault laid down to that date.
